Abuse Report Investigation Process

Last update: 01/08/2025
Version: 1.5

Domain name registrants are required to use and manage their domain names in accordance with Ubilibet’s General Terms and Conditions of Service. UBILIBET is an ICANN-accredited registrar and is not responsible for the use of the customer’s domain names.

If you need to report that a domain name registered through UBILIBET is fraudulent or is being used for an abusive or malicious purpose, you may send an email to abuse@ubilibet.com. Each abuse report will be reviewed by an agent from our legal team.

Abuse reports should identify:

  • Your name and contact information, including your email address and a telephone number at which you can be reached.
  • The domain name that is the cause of, or associated with, your report.
  • The nature of the harm caused, with sufficient detail for us to investigate your report, and whether the harm is current and ongoing.

Types of abuse:

  • Inappropriate content: when you wish to report violent, disturbing or inappropriate content.
  • Malware: malware describes programs designed to damage or gain access to a computer without the knowledge of the owner.
  • Phishing: phishing is the attempt to obtain sensitive personal, corporate, or financial information (e.g., account numbers, passwords, payments details…) through fraudulent or “look-alike” emails or websites that purposefully masquerade as trustworthy sources.
  • Spam: use of information technology for sending unwanted advertising.
  • Trademark infringement: when a domain name that is registered with Ubilibet is using a registered trademark without permission.
  • Copyright infringement: when a domain name that is registered with Ubilibet is using copyrighted elements without permission.

Once we received your abuse report, we will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We cannot guarantee any particular outcome, but we can guarantee your claim will be investigated. We could contact you to require further information or to communicate you the decision taken by our legal team.

If the problem cannot be solved and you are a right holder, we recommend that you to take a look at Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution (UDRP) proceeding, established by ICANN. You can find the UDRP Policy here:

https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/help/dndr/udrp-en.

As an ICANN-accredited registrar, UBILIBET is required to follow the Policy when the ownership of a particular domain is in dispute.
